Anyone looking for a voice actor for their project? There's one right here! The only thing is that I'd need to be paid in the DeviantArt currency called deviantPOINTS. Anyone not familiar with DeviantArt's "points" (as they're colloquially known as) are able to purchase them from the 'points' section of the account list dropdown (it comes up between the "Sta.sh Storage" and "Fragments" sections).

Ash's Journey ended, so he's probably not going to be voiced by Veronica Taylor again. But she did celebrate Ash's journey coming to a close with us.

Hi, I have some questions for the VA community:
What would you consider to be a good pay rate (per word, per minute etc.)?
Also what would you consider to be a good way for newbies/amateurs to start?
I ask because I've considered getting into VA myself. Though nothing too professional and not looking to do it full time either. Also this (or at least the payment, particularly in points) will be confined to DeviantArt.
The only catch is that I don't want to do it too often and don't want to do it for anymore than 2 years (even one's a bit much for me). After all this is being done in secret. The only other thing I want to know is whether there's a great enough demand for voice acting here on DA, and for that matter, whether this is worth the trouble.
